‘Tis the Season.
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, decorating the tree, Activision delisting all of their licensed games from Steam. All holiday traditions, but we’re concerned with the latter. Because, yes, all of those games have been delisted. Deadpool? The Legend of Korra? Literally all of the Transformers games, including the recent Transformers Devastation? All gone. If you didn’t buy them because you were, say, waiting for the Steam Winter Sale? Well, you’re shit out of luck. On the plus side, if you own them, you can still presumably download them if they’re not installed. So there’s that.
This happens pretty often with Activision, too. One imagines Deadpool will be back in time for the next movie, at the very least. But this is neither the first time this has happened, nor likely the last. On the plus side, you can still buy physical copies of these games, if you can find them. And stores like GameStop and Humble Bundle are still offering digital versions of the games. You’re just not getting any of those sweet Winter Sale deals.
