Ghosts ‘N Goblins is a classic Capcom franchise that saw a release on just about every platform out there. But did you know that a pretty solid and full-featured port hit mobile phones in 2004 and was just as brutally difficult as its predecessors?
The title was created by Lavastorm Engineering, one of the first companies to start producing mobile phone games. The studio was a spin-off Lavastorm Analytics, an incredibly boring analytics company that looked to break into a less boring market. The studio didn’t last long, but it did manage to release some 30 titles, most of them licensed affairs.
Consisting of three stages, Ghosts ‘N Goblins shrinks things down and has you doing some tricky platforming and quick attacking on a mobile phone keypad. As you might imagine, this is not the most easy of endeavors and makes and already difficult game far more difficult.
