E3 is winding down and it wouldn’t be a true show without Nintendo coming out and simply announcing games. Weird how well a show can go when you cut the fluff and simply show a bunch of upcoming games. Let’s take a look at everything that Nintendo showed off at the show.

Life is Strange Remastered Collection & Life is Strange True Colors
Both games are also coming to Switch. Who isn’t excited for Deanna Troi Simulator [CURRENT YEAR EDITION]? True Colors September 10th 2021, Remastered “later this year”
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
October 26th. Was this part of the deal for Triangle Strategy or something?
Worms Rumble
Real-time arena shooter, June 23rd.
Astria Ascending
Sidescrolling RPG similar in appearance to some of Vanillaware’s titles (and I mean that as a compliment), Story written by Kazushige Nojima… I’m out.
Two Point Campus
University builder courtesy of Sega. Out next year.
Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
Remasters of the games in the Super Monkey Ball franchise are headed to the Switch on October 5th, 2021.
Mario Party Superstars
Pulls boards and minigames from the N46 era, and they make note of those that need it having button controls (rather than destroying your hand/control stick). Online play across all game modes. October 29th, 2021. Per-orders open now.
Metroid 5: Metroid Dread
Oh shit, YES! A return to side-scrolling Metroid. More importantly, Dread isn’t a myth anymore. October 8th this year. Nintendo just won E3 2021. Amiibos in production for Samus and the E.M.M.I. (the robot seen in the trailer). Metroid Prime 4 is also in development.
Just Dance 2022
Sorry Wii owners, Ubisoft has moved on to more modern hardware for these. November 4th, 2021.

I’m guessing our Japanese high-schooler protagonist gets pulled into the SMT 1 timeline where everything’s already screwed. Oughta be good. Has a bunch of quality of life additions for the series (at least, I think; really need to get around to actually playing 3 and 4).Push turn system, negotiation, etc. November 12. Danganronpa Decadence

Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Expansion Pass
Wave 1 – Pulse of the Ancients hits June 18th on eShop; adds Battle-Tested Guardian character, Flail weapon type for Link and Master Cycle for Zelda, Apocalyptic difficulty level, new challenges, and new enemies (higher-ranked Wizzrobes, Giant Chuchu, etc.) Wave 2 – Guardian of Rememberance hits November 2021 with new character vignettes, stagesexpanded roster, and new skills for existing characters.
