Marvel Talks With Directors For Dr. Strange

Comic book movies are big business and the string of upcoming films this year which include Guardians Of The Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier are proof of that. Marvel has taken center stage in recent years and is already putting focus on Ant-Man, under the direction of Edgar Wright, and its very diverse and interesting cast.

Marvel, never one to rest on its laurels, are always thinking with a long-term vision in mind. Today we are getting reports on Dr. Strange, their next major comic property coming to the big screen. Not since the 70s has Dr. Strange made a live action appearance (YouTube that for a fun time). According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Andrews, Nicolaj Arcel, Dean Israelite and Jonathan Levine are all in talks with the studio to direct the project. We don’t have a screenplay as of yet but word is that John Abel and Glen Berger might be in the picture to get a script together.

That is quite the range of possible directors for Dr. Strange, but Marvel have always been comfortable in taking risks with who they put in the directors chair of their projects. For more information on these possible directors just click on their names (above) and you can see their complete bios.
