Recently, video surfaced (from TMZ, naturally) of Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice beating the shit out of his fiancee in an elevator. There were two reactions to this: the Fox & Friends reaction (“I think the message is, take the stairs” is an actual quote from Brian Kilmeade) and the decent human being reaction, and thankfully EA Sports falls into the latter category. They’ve just announced plans to release a patch for Madden ’15 that would remove Rice from the Ravens and the free agent roster.

EA has confirmed that the update will be in place by this Friday, which will hopefully be just in time for us to sit back and watch the consequences continue to stack up for being a woman-beating piece of shit.
