Assassin’s Creed Rogue Is HAUNTED

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is an old game but one that keeps giving, at least in the creepy department. Considering the game was probably rushed to market to make a few extra bucks on a dead console generation, Ubisoft took a cue from from EA and sticking FIFA on consoles generations old, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue can often be a buggy mess.

And since it’s October with Halloween just around the corner and GAMBIT is in full gear with the spooky content, we figured it was the perfect time to show off this really creepy glitch that happens at random during the early parts of the game. It might happen later but this is the only time and place that we ever caught it happening.



At a certain location at a junction of paths, the NPCs in Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will on their own and without warning begin to walk in a circle like they are taking part in a fundraising cakewalk for the local elementary school. Dozens of NPCs will take part while others will simply walk right through after if they can find an escape.

But the weirdest part of the glitch is just how much the game hates that it’s happening. British soldiers in the area will randomly attack the NPCs walking in their witches maypole seance. In fact, the soldiers will never leave their alert state and continue to abuse the NPCs in an attempt to get them to stop walking in a circle.

It’s a super creepy and strange glitch that the game fights against, almost as if Assassin’s Creed: Rogue knows its haunted and is doing everything it can to free itself from the curse some Ubisoft employee placed on it when a loose zero slipped into the code.
