Watch your PC melt in real time.

So we’ve all heard the joke. You know: can it run Crysis? Well, said joke has ascended to its highest possible height. That’s right; it will now be in the remaster of the game it spawned from, Crysis Remastered, as the name of the highest preset graphics setting.

I am, coincidentally, the worst choice to write this, as my PC is a potato that probably can’t even run the remaster on the lowest settings. And I like a lot of older games that look sweaty as hell. But apparently, Twitter does some compression crap that keeps that screenshot from looking as crisp as it does in game. So some very nice Reddit user by the name of Filipi_7 uploaded a few that actually represent the view properly. Well, plus a few tweaks as explained in the Reddit comment.

Well, Crysis Remastered releases September 19th. An wouldn’t you know it? It’s Epic Game Store exclusive! So uh, have fun with all that.
