The mini console craze might be dying down and with that means some sales on a number on console that aren’t Nintendo branded. That is just the case with the Neo Geo Mini.
Currently, Amazon has the Neo Geo Mini for $30, a pretty steep discount from the average $50 it usually goes for. That said, this is the base console only meaning it lacks the controller and mini HDMI controller.
The game pad will run you $20 and a mini HDMI cable is less than a tenner on the site. That’s not the worst thing as the Neo Geo Mini can be played without all those things considering it’s a miniature arcade cabinet.
If you grew up playing in the arcades then this makes for a great deal as it includes 40 titles inside a mini cabinet that features a 3.5 inch LCD screen. It’s a neat thing to have on your desk for a couple of rounds of Metal Slug during a break.
