Lily’s Garden Ad Highlights Insanity Of Mobile Game Advertising

Lily's Garden

Just, what the fuck, man?!

So, you might be familiar with some bullshit mobile ads. I literally couldn’t play a single game of solitaire on my phone for a while without getting assaulted by an ad for Hero Wars. An ad which, coincidentally, is nothing like the game its selling.

Or maybe you’re familiar with Mafia City, and all the memes that shitsucker launched.

But there’s an ad for a casual puzzle game called Lily’s Garden that’s making the rounds. Coincidentally, you should probably know what the game itself is actually like before you see the ad. So here:

This ad, though, might be he most gloriously hilarious 15 seconds I’ve see all month.

So this Lily finds out she’s pregnant. And she decides to tell Yoshikage Kira that the kid’s his, despite the fact that he’s never had sex in his life.

I’m also happily not the only one that thought this. My, what a beautiful Duwang

He then hops on his motorscooter to go grab some cigs and a handy down at the 7-11 and never come back. We end on Lily in the depths of Jean-Luc-Picard-esqe despair. Play now!

For what it’s worth the people that actually play the game say it isn’t like that, and they actually like it for what it is. It’s just hard to figure out why anyone would advertise their mobile game like this.
