Plague Inc. To Add Anti-Vaxxers Into The Mix

[LAUGHS MICROSCOPICALLY]

You might be familiar with the anti-vaccine crowd. They’re a group of parents so mind-rendingly stupid that they think risking their kids suffering from horrible, often physically debilitating, preventable diseases is better than said kids potentially getting autism from a vaccination.

On the other hand, they might have the slightest bit of a point. Kinda lost in the child deaths, honestly.*

*Note: the production quality is actually pretty good for Chris. Surprising to me, at least.

Plague Inc. is a simulation game about creating the super bug that infects the world. Granted, things that work against that goal, like proper sterilization procedures and, duh, vaccinations, which are in the game as obstacles. But now, Ndemic Creations (the studio behind the game) is adding anti-vaxxers as a buff to your disease after a petition requested that they do just that.

But they’re not stopping at just adding anti-vaxxers to the game. They promised that they’d add an anti-vaxxer scenario as well if the petition reached 10,000 signatures. And given the fact that it’s currently over 20,000, mission accomplished.

Plague Inc. started as a mobile game before being ported to the PC as Plague Inc. Evolved. Naturally, these updates will hit the mobile version first, but it’s more than reasonable to assume they’ll infect the PC version eventually.
