T-Mobile getting branded Revvl 2 and Revvl 2 Plus smartphones

The  Revvl 2 and Revvl 2 Plus that hit the market last year at T-Mobile are fine phones. They aren’t going to blow anyone away in the spec department, but they got the job done, especially the Plus with an 1080p resolution and 16:9 screen that people consider dated.

That may be the case, but my human hands are going to need to evolve soon to hold these modern smartphones manufactures tell me I want/need. But the best part was that with a T-Mobile Jump! plan the phone only cost you $9 a month for 18 months. Skip one trip to McDonald’s a month and you had it covered.

T-Mobile Revvl 2

The new models  for 2019 get neat little T-Mobile branding and cute pink power button with the entry level Revvl 2 sporting a  5.5-inch 720×1440 touchscreen, a 13 MP main camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The guys feature the MediaTek MT6739 chipset with a 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU.

The price is is nice too! You’ll be able to snag the Revvl 2 for only $168 making it an actual budget friendly phone. Sorry budget Samsung S10, but $650 is nowhere in anyone’s budget range. If the price is too high for you T-Mobile is offering up for $7 a month for 24 months.

The upgraded Revvl 2 Plus features a sizeable 6-inch 1080×2160 display, a 2.5 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a slick 12 MP + 2 MP dual rear camera setup for whatever you use those dual camera for. I have one on my smartphone and have yet to see the benefit.

The selfie-side camera is 8 MP and features an LED flash that should help step up your Instagram game. The Plus in Revvl 2 Plus stands for extra costs. T-Mobile will sell the Revvl 2 Plus for $252 that still places it within my “budget” spectrum. You can also get a plan that makes it affordable at $10.50 a month for 24 months.

Both phones run Android 8.1 Oreo and will hit T-Mobile stores this week on November 16th, just in time for the holiday season. As a T-Mobile subscriber I may just have to check out the Revvl 2 Plus this weekend.
