Samsung’s entry-level Galaxy S10 to feature Infinity-O screen and side-faced fingerprint scanner

Samsung  hasn’t officially announced their new phones for 2019 but we do know a few things from reports floating about online. We expect at least two of the new flagships to feature curved 5.8-inch and 6.44-inch displays and one with a boring old flat 5.8-inch display.

But it’s that last “boring” model that is the most interesting for everyone that can’t sell the only kidney they have left for another flagship. Leaker Ben Geskin has given us some juicy details on what’s being dubbed the budget Galaxy S10. The smartphone will feature flat Infinity-O display and a fingerprint scanner on the side.

The leak also states that we can expect a Snapdragon 845 or 8150chipset to power this handset. As always a few versions of varying size will hit the market which include 4+64GB, 6+64GB, and 6+128GB. But the real kicker is the  price-point which starts at $650.

That’s still a lot of money for most people –I don’t really think these huge corporations really understand the term budget– but it should make for a pretty large gap between the budget Galaxy S10 and the high-end models that Samsung will probably push more heavily.

Curved screen at neat, but I just never saw their appeal or have been given a good enough reason to pay a premium for a handset that features one. Flat screens are just fine for this budget friendly phone lover.
