Collection of 33 games for up to four players offers wholesome fun for families and kids of all ages
The people over at Mastiff have given us the word that Arcade Islands: Volume One, their collection of 33 kid and family-friendly games for up to four players, is now available for digital download on the Xbox One, and the PS4.
Arcade Islands: Volume One features six islands filled with games waiting for adventurers of all skill levels. Players can explore the islands solo, invite a group of friends over for some local co-op and competitive gameplay, or round up the troops for some wholesome family gaming.
Players race across island maps in their quest to be crowned Island Ruler, discover Treasure to proudly display in their Treasure Hut, and topple their friend’s scores and the scores of players from around the world to gain online leaderboard fame.
In the process, players will unlock new islands filled with a variety of new games. Fill up the Treasure Hut with Treasure from all 33 games and become the ultimate master of Arcade Islands: Volume One. The games look cute enough, but let’s just hope this isn’t another Action 52 sort of situation!
To be fair, there aren’t a ton of games on Xbox One and PS4 that cater to the family-friendly set, so I do think there’s a market for Arcade Islands: Volume One with families looking to spend some quality time together gaming.
