WWE announces first ever all women PPV event WWE Evolution

The WWE hasn’t always been the best when it comes to women wrestlers over the years. For a long time the women’s division was just an excuse to stick ladies on the screen in the bikini’s and in their underwear. There have always been exceptions to the rule, but for many years when a women’s match came on it was a call to take a bathroom break.

All that changed thanks in part to the women’s revolution and the amazing talent NXT has developed for the main WWE brand. It’s now not uncommon for women’s matches to be some of the best of any PPV with a women’s match even headlining a PPV recently.

Now WWE is stepping up its game by announcing the WWE Evolution pay-per-view show that will be an all female affair. Taking place on October 28th, the event is sure to make waves and help WWE continue to break new ground with regards to its wrestling product.

The show will see all the women’s titles put on the line including the Raw, Smackdown, and NXT belts. There have also been hints of a women’s Tag Team division and the show would make for the perfect time to hold the inaugural scramble for the belts.
