Popular battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now on mobiles. This comes after Fortnite launched their closed beta testing here in the United States. PUBG Mobile had been in testing overseas and was developed in conjunction with Chinese giant, Tencent.
Unlike Fortnite, PUBG Mobile is open to download for everyone and is out on both iOS and Android. Fortnite is currently only running their closed beta on iOS devices. The team behind the project describes PUBG Mobile as a “faithful adaptation of the PC version. One figures this would also include the multitude of bugs that plague the PC version.
PUBG Mobile will still feature 100 players working to be the last man standing in a large-scale map. The game is free to download and play right now, with in-app purchases to keep the money rolling in. We have no idea how well the game runs, but it’s cheaper than the buggy PC edition!
PUBG Mobile is available for for iOS and Android devices.
