And you can get dressed for the occasion, too.
Super Mario Odyssey was a pretty big hit for the Switch, cementing the system’s place this generation. And, thanks to the recent update, you can squeeze a bit more playtime out of it. The Balloon World update gives you a brand new online minigame, as well as a few new outfits.
In “Hide It” mode, you have to hide a balloon somewhere that you think no one will find it in the time limit. Vice versa, there’s “Find It” mode, in which you have to find balloons other players have hidden in the same time limit. The new modes can be accessed after beating the game’s story; all you need to do is find Luigi in a given kingdom and talk to him.

In addition to the new modes, the update also comes with some new threads for Mario. The first is his Musician Hat & Outfit. The second is his Super Mario Sunshine based Sunshine Shades & Outfit. And the third is the Knight’s Helmet & Armor. All three can be purchased after beating story mode.

Nintendo suggests that this isn’t the end of updates for the game either. Here’s hoping they keep the free Super Mario Odyssey DLC coming!
