Play Open Alpha for 3×3 Asymmetrical Multiplayer Brawl-Shooter Aftercharge This Weekend

Today is the day; the clash between the invisible and the invincible starts now in the three-day open alpha for Aftercharge, a 3v3 asymmetrical multiplayer FPS that combines stealth, strategy and a whole lot of shootin’. The Aftercharge open alpha is available for download now on Steam for free throughout the weekend from October 13-15.

Developed by Canadian indie team Chainsawesome Games (the studio behind Knight Squad), Aftercharge pits invisible robots against a squad of specialized security enforcers in fast-paced battles. While a team of three invisible robots works to destroy six energy extractors on the map, a team of three indestructible (and heavily-armed) human(oid) guards must find and stop them. It sounds simple, but each team features three class types uniquely suited to combat the opposing team’s individual abilities.

On the defending Enforcers team, choose between invincible guards Striker, Liquidator and Builder. When on the attack team as an invisible Workonics droid, dismantle extractors as Glitch, Bubbles or Cyclops. Alternate characters to explore new offensive and defensive tactical options and strengthen your team’s strategy.

Check out the action in this all-new Aftercharge trailer:

Key features include:

  • Unique Blend of Fresh Mechanics: An invisible team fighting an invincible team, reviving allies instantly with no limit and zero cooldown on abilities are only a few mechanics that make Aftercharge unlike any shooter you’ve ever played before.
  • Bite-sized Competitive Matches: The teams are small, the maps are small and the rounds are short, but the action is always within sight and it never stops.
  • Asymmetrical Teams: Each team has a specific objective and unique abilities that offer diverse play styles among their characters.
