Graalphone looks to be your 4-in-1 Device – PC, Smartphone, Tablet & 3D Camera

Designed to Meet the Demands of Increased Mobile Use and Comfort of PCs and Tablets

While 80 percent of consumers have adopted smartphones for their daily Internet routines, the mobile user experience still lacks that of the good old-fashioned personal computer. According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Household Appliance and Electronics report, desktop computers continue to rank highest in terms of user satisfaction on the ACSI survey.

“It doesn’t shock me at all,” says Graalphone President and CEO Raoul Parienti. “As far as mobile technology has advanced over the last decade, you still hear people say ‘I’ll do that when I get back home or to the office because it’s easier.'”

No matter how many apps a device can operate at once, the user experience simply doesn’t stack up to that of a computer. On the other hand, people obviously prefer their mobile phones, due to size and portability, camera functionalities, and messaging options.

As a mobile worker the idea of the Graalphone sounds intriguing. I could take a pass on the name, but the promise of the all-in-one has been something phone companies (most notably Nokia) have played with over the years.
