Developed and published by the same people behind the 8bit Music Power‘s chiptune cartridge album, Kira Kira Star Night DX sees Fami-chan, a pink haired girl, and Paso-kun, a little mouse, save the sky catching all the stars that are falling on Earth and avoid to let disappear them forever.
One night, Fami-chan leaned out her window, peering up at the featureless black sky.
A sudden bright pinpoint of light appeared, flashing through the darkness, it rocketed across the sky toward her, zipping past her head and into her room like a miniature meteor.
She let out a surprised yelp and turned. On her bedroom floor she saw, of all things, a tiny, strange looking mouse that asked her help for save all the stars and bring them back to the Moon Goddess!
So, the Fami-chan’s greatest adventure begins!
Using a pair of magical-shoes, she must catch all the falling stars, and get things right before is too late…
The team featured in Kira Kira Star Night DX includes talents like Kei Miyakotsuki (writer of Summon Night) Yuriko Keino (Xevious, Pac-Land), Takeaki Kunimoto (Star Soldier, Ninja Hattori-kun), Manami Matsumae (Final Fight, Mega Man 10, Shovel Knight) and many others.
As well, the character designer is Hiroshi Ono (Pac-Land, Bahamut Lagoon, Final Fantasy Tactics).
