Here’s the first teaser for Netflix’s Lemony Snicket

I remember all the buzz surrounding the Lemony Snicket film from some years back. It stared Jim Carey and was supposed to be a huge deal. I had no idea what is was all about, but my younger sister was obsessed with both the book and film so we checked it out. After seeing it for myself I can away thinking it was decent film that had Jim Carey, well, being Jim Carey. I don’t remember the movie doing all that well and the property sort of faded away into Hollywood obscurity.

Now, once again Daniel Handler’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is being turned into a series over on Netflix. I still don’t know much about the book series of the fandom around it, but it features a lot of actors that I really enjoy, so I’m all in. It also helps that it’s on Netflix, as the company has a pretty fantastic track record.

You can check out the first teaser for the series below. The series drops January 2017 on the first Friday the 13th of the year. Oh, and my sister is a full-grown adult now, but she is still super excited about Lemony Snicket.
