‘Banana Kong’ tops 100M downloads worldwide

Yes, it does sound like this game is playing off of a number of Nintendo ideas, but hey, whatever works. To be fair the game is a load of fun so I’m okay with it, even if it is an endless runner. It’s like the upcoming Super Mario Run only with a banana loving Kong and coming out well before anything Nintendo based on mobiles.

FDG Entertainment reports a huge milestone for their endless runner game Banana Kong. Downloads are not slowing down and now topped 100 Million Downloads on Android and iOS. To celebrate this milestone the publisher is releasing a brand new content update for all iOS players.

New Beach Area Update:
To celebrate the enormous success we worked on a big new update for the game that will release on iOS This Thursday, September 29, 2016. Players should look for a rocket which pops up in the forest occasionally. Use it to enter the whole-new beach area.

Run, jump, bounce and swing on vines as you help Banana Kong to outrun a huge banana avalanche! Keep full control with single-finger tap and swipe controls.

Each session is a new challenge as the level is built randomly on the fly.Collect as many bananas as possible to fill your energy bar.
