The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Peter Mayhew will be once again donning his massive wookiee costume once again. Mayhew played the iconic wookie in the Star Wars trilogy and more recently in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Mayhew was slated to appear at a Texas convention but was forced to cancel that appearance “due to filming.”

We are still awaiting word from Disney about final castings, as well as the status of the original trilogy cast.

Filming on Star Wars: Episode VII has already begun.
