Final Fantasy VII landed on iOS today

FF7

Final Fantasy VII has just landed on iOS for all you rabid fans. The game on sale for $19.99, which is an insane amount of money if you ask me, but what do I know about anything. The game will need an iPhone 5S or later, an iPad 3 or later, or an iPad mini 2 or later to run, so make sure your check that device before plopping down all that cash.

Actually, I suggest you do go out and by this port of FFVII just so you can see how far RPG’s have come since the games release, especially with regards to Western RPG’s. I have always said tha while Final Fantasy VII was a great game for its time, it just hasn’t held up all that well with its tedious battles and oftentimes terrible story elements. Why do you think Square Enix has held off of a remake for so long, and why do you think they are tweaking the upcoming remake?

So have have with yet another re-release of FFVII, this time on your mobile device. Also, I should point out that this isn’t a port of the Final Fantasy VII that graced the Sony PlayStation, rather it’s simply a port of the less superior PC release.  So while every outlet and fan will no doubt be gushing about FFVII while clutching their Cloud and Sephiroth fan-fic, I’ll be here avoiding a cross-dressing Cloud and slap fights on huge cannons.
