The Broken Lizard team have begun an Indiegogo campaign to finance the sequel to one of their most beloved films, Super Troopers. While the team have dabbled in other film projects over the years, Beerfest and Club Dread are the two most will recall, none have attained the level of infamy that Super Troopers has. This Indiegog campaign will last through April 24th, and the team is hoping to raise $2 million to fund the sequel.
Super Troopers 2 will bring back the original cast of Broken Lizard actors Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske for another adventure for the Troopers in the their small border town. Some fifteen years have passed since the original independent comedy hit theaters and it’s safe to say the kids born around that time will now be the new generation seeing this film, as we all were when it first came out.
