To mark The Sims series’ 25th anniversary, developer Maxis has officially announced the re-release of The Sims and The Sims 2 on PC. After weeks of subtle hints from the studio, of which we’ve covered here, and eager speculation from fans, both games are now available for purchase as part of special Legacy Collections.

The Sims: Legacy Collection is priced $20 with The Sims 2: Legacy Collection dropping at $30. For those looking to grab both, the 25th Birthday Bundle offers a discounted price of $40. Each collection includes every expansion pack and select content packs originally released for the games, delivering a hefty dose of nostalgia alongside hours of gameplay.
