The smallest Wii.

@WeskMods and @YveltalGriffin have managed to do it; they have fit an entire, functional Nintendo Wii into a box that could fit on your keychain. Dubbed the Kawaii, it is now the smallest anyone has been able to get a Wii to Bii be.

This shouldn’t be too surprising; in the modding scene, there have been efforts to see just how small you could compact the Wii for over a decade. And this mod began life as a challenge to fully utilize the OMEGA trim, the most extreme board trim made of the Wii to date. They may have outdone themselves with the Kawaii, though, as it’s hard to imagine you could possibly downsize the console even further than this.

And, not for nothing, but they did not skimp on construction. It comes in a 60x60mm machined metal unibody, magnetic pogo pin connectors for power, AV and controller connectivity, and even comes with a special dock to allow the use of the Gamecube controller ports the vast majority of original Wii systems had (the Wii Mini, whose name is practically a misnomer now, did away with them alongside Gamecube backwards compatibility). As if all of that wasn’t enough, the Kawaii is passively cooled, no need for a fan to waste precious case space.

The final Kawaii shell will be machined from aluminium and anodized in a variety of gorgeous colours. The back will be laser-etched with the project logo and dope-looking fake compliance markings.
