Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas Comes To PC In New Trailer

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas

Cornfox & Brothers, a Finnish developer, today announced the official Steam release date for ‘Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas’. The game is currently available for mobile in the iTunes App Store and has close to 1M players worldwide. The game managed to reach the #1 position in the paid games category in 47 countries and #1 in the all apps category in 32 countries. With the games success Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is making the move to PC via Steam.

From the looks of the trailer (below) the game looks to be a melding of some classic Zelda action. The setting of the game is also very reminiscent of The Wind Waker, so that alone already has us interested. If they can enhance the game with real (non touch) control scheme and bump up the visual quality a bit, Cornfox & Brothers may have a nice little title on their hands.

“For us it was clear from the very beginning that Oceanhorn as an nostalgic adventure experience would be right at home on PC and huge success of the mobile version allowed us to bring the game for the Steam audience to enjoy,” said  Heikki Repo, Creative Director of Cornfox & Brothers. “We are excited to launch this epic adventure on Steam in March so that PC gamers can get in on the action”
