Late last month, Disney put out a a video titled The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, which contained a preview of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel. The video, as well as its accompanying social media posts, has now disappeared.
The preview featured a walkthrough of the experience with Sean Giambrone of The Goldbergs. The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration was removed from YouTube whole cloth, while the tweet featuring the preview clip was removed as well. Most assume that the reason the videos were taken down was due to the criticism they received online. A fair assumption, as that criticism is all that remains.
One of the lucky few to still have YouTube dislikes enabled happened to get a screenshot of that ratio before it went down.
Having seen an archived version of the video, if you can imagine those old promotional shows that used to run on The Disney Channel in the 90’s where they’d go on a tour of an area with some celebrity and give some trivia about an attraction or whatever? The video has that kind of energy, but way more awkward. Especially with the singer lady. Oh, hell, just see for yourself:
