The 10th Annual International Mobile Gaming Awards Have Been Announced

Badland takes home the Grand Prix in San Francisco

March 20th, 2014 – San Francisco, CA: After two months of voting between fourteen judges on two different continents, including a final judging ceremony just hours before the awards themselves, the 10th Annual International Mobile Gaming Awards have been announced.

Held at a private venue in San Francisco, the awards were hosted once again by Maude Garrett and announced to a packed crowd.

The industry’s best and brightest attended the Awards Ceremony, including previous winners such as TellTale Games and the 13 winners of this year. The IMGA’s sponsors, some of the biggest names in mobile technology, were in attendance as well including ARM, King, Goo Technologies, Worker Bee Inc., DeNa, Tencent Games, PLGND, Game Connection, Pop App Store and Euromediteranee.
Th judging panel for the 10th awards was a truly international group with judges from Japan, Australia, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the US, amongst others, making up the final group.

“Last night we concluded the first 10 years of the IMGA, awards that celebrate one of the most dynamic and inspiring sectors of the entertainment industry” says Maarten Noyons, founder of the International Mobile Gaming Awards.  “I am very thankful of the commitment of our loyal sponsors and the hard work of one of the most talented jury we have had and look forward to the next 10 years.”
